The Team

Travis & Leann Cherry have been married for 25 years, and in full-time, vocational ministry together their entire marriage. Travis grew up in Norman, OK; Leann grew up all over the Northeast part of the country (PA, MA, OH). They met in Bible College in Springfield, MO at 18 & 19 years old. After getting married in March of 2021, Travis & Leann have served in pastoral ministry on various church staffs in MO, CA, MD, AL, TX, and have now made their home in the Tulsa area, where they have lived since January 2016.

In the Spring of 2018, Travis & Leann felt God calling them to plant and lead pastor a church family and faith community that was authentic & genuine, where people feel deeply connected, and where each person feels truly known…which led to the birth of The Connecting Co. and it’s grand opening in September 2020.

The Cherrys have 2 children: their son Kaden is in college, and their daughter Kilea is in high school. Pastors Travis & Leann are also certified marriage coaches with SYMBIS & Becoming One and are extremely passionate about investing into and helping build healthy marriages and families inside and outside of their church. The Cherrys love adventure, travelling, trying new restaurants and food, OU football, good coffee, ice cream, playing games, making memories, and doing life together with their family and their family of choice.
